If you get a chance to hand over the kids for a while, why not be one yourself for an hour or two? Bestival’s Kidult creche gives adults a chance to act like children without any recriminations…
Bestival silliness legends, Lost & Found, are super-mega-excited to be joining all the Bestivalonions again this year, and are coming equipped with lots of brand new nonsense, as well as some Bestival favourites.
They will be based in their Lost & Found Kidult Creche – located next to the Sunday Best tent this is the place for adults get very silly indeed. Activities and games galore during the daytime hours include:
Binocular Football (that’s right a game of footie with binoculars strapped to your head) Will any one score? (or even find the ball
- Flounders (an underwater version of Rounders)
- Team Kiss Chase (red lipstick vs blue lipstick, watch out for a mystery guest)
- Early Morning Oz Aerobics – FITTER!
- Bestival Gurning competition
- Human Krufts!!
- and loads more (see the blackboard outside the tent for your daily schedule of daftery!)
The Bestival Dancing Baton – Lost & Found just can’t stop shaking that thing, and we could do a daft dance all night, but sometimes it’s good to pass the baton, if it comes your way you’ve just got to keep wiggling like a wally until it’s out of your hands and passed to another Bestivalonion. The baton was tracked last year up until 3am Sunday morning when it was last seen with a man called Keith! If you see it snap it and post the photos to the Facebook profile here.
Bestival is held at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight, from 11 to 13 September 2009. Find out more here.
