Emily Pauley, aged 12, shares her thoughts on the Wickham Festival.
Wickham Festival was amazing,it had lots of different things to do so you were always entertained such as shopping stalls, food stalls, an EA games hut so you could try out the latest games for FREE, face painting, a solar cinema and of course the fantastic bands such as Kid Creole and the Coconuts and the Levellers!!
The food on the food stalls was great, especially the fresh cheesey chips and the hot chocolate with whipped cream and a chocolate flake. But there were a few little problems like the amount of wasps, but that wasn’t the festival’s fault and the American stall who sells the hot chocolate wasn’t open the last night after the Levellers when me and my friend Jess really wanted a nice creamy hot chocolate to finish the night.
This wasn’t my first festival but it was my best festival so far. I had so much fun and I really want to go again. Also at night it was really quiet which was really nice because then we could get a nice night’s sleep and get ready for enjoying the next day!
